Sasha needs to stick close with her heels and put a leash on her phone because her real relationship is with her phone, not the dog. The phone would be more attentive to, and meet her needs better than an animal or another human being. She can share and show her phone with others without embarrassment. Put a smile on Dexter's face and let him walk out the door with 'the dog daddy' trainer to find a less confusing home for him. … News flash for Sasha: We dog owners all do a lot of things FOR our dogs, but we also do a lot of things WITH them. You need to spend time WITH your dog. If you are constantly too busy and have a bad attitude towards your own dog then no wonder he doesn’t want to listen to you. Dogs need attention, direction and love. Take your heels off, put your phone in silent, cook him chicken breast in plain water for 20 minutes, cut it into small pieces, sit down with him on your carpet and start from hand feeding him small pieces of the chicken (tell him he is a good boy), then ask him to sit and give him another piece of chicken (tell him “good boy” again), then ask him to lie down and give him another piece of chicken (tell him “good boy” again), then teach him to roll over and other tricks you fancy and reward him every time he does something right and tell him he’s a “good boy”. It’s not hard.. Pet him, give him a hug and a kiss on his forehead because this dog looks like he doesn’t feel loved. A little kindness goes a long way. Dogs don’t care about money, they feel and they want attention. You need to change for your dog to change. HARD TRUTH HURTS BUT YOU ARE THE PROBLEM HERE AND YOUR DOG CLEARLY WANTS TO BE LOVED …

My MIL is like this. She purchased a Pekinese/Terrier mix. She wanted me to train the dog, but didn't put any effort into it. I tried to explain to her that I could train the dog, but if she doesn't work with her dog, the dog would only listen to the people working with the dog. I'm not going to waste my time and effort for something like that, particularly since she lets her dog run around the neighborhood...no leash, no fence, no owner. Needless to say, she gets angry that my little dogs are trained and hers isn't. This woman bought the dog for fashion. She is so ridiculous that she shouldn't even have a fish.

I would have been so grateful to have the opportunity to work with him and have him help my dog. You can tell she was expecting him to come in and “train the dog” and she thought she would be able to go off and do her own thing. As soon as he started talking about her practicing and being involved, she completely lost all interest. I sincerely hope she gives the dog to a loving family. He wants to work, and you could tell he was doing really well with the basic attention he was getting from Augusto, that tells me the dog is desperate for ANY attention at all.
