I couldn't find legit solutions to this problem the text doesn't give info about the electric field inside the solid sphere. I was a lot confused with this problem and I tried to compare it with the spherical shell one which would only work for the inside of the sphere. I just felt really dumb for not being able to solve this. Thank you for the video, it's a bit long but it starts right where I want it from. Making mistakes is ok because it makes the viewers aware of not repeating the same errors.

I think you made a mistake for inside potential. It is the integral of E out from infinity to R (and not from infinity to r) minus integral of E in from R to r, so at the and you have Vin = (q/8pi epsilon R^3) * (3R² - r²). Otherwise, it is a really well explained video thank you :)

For a potential inside..why arent we intergrating from R to 0 ? whats the point in using the limits from R to r?? Shouldnt potential be a constant value inside the sphere?
