Martha Argerich 's Partita 2 c-minor is still.my favorite. But Sokolov''s partita 2 is close second.

Your qualification is your own only. You write "is" and "is"... There are hundreds of different opinions about the interpretation of this second Partita.

I listened to the beginning of the Sinfonia. Then I fell asleep. I imagine and hope that Johann Senastian Bach's blood was running better until his death in 1750.

I find the tempo of the Sinfonia very extreme. Must old pianists perform like this ? Thanks to God, that most of older pianists like Andras Schiff and Murray Perahia have not fallen in their delirium yet in their interpretations.

​@@AlexanderGuglielmettiOf course you are right : faster has not to sound better ! The other truth is : more slowly does not sound better ! Do you agree ? I think, the tempi have to match with the compositions. Of course every musician chooses his tempo. Whether we like or not is our choice !
