I lovvee crabbing! This brings back some many nostalgic memories with my mom. All the good spots are gone now. Our favorite was the Northside generating station. Where they exploded the JEA towers off of Hecksher Dr. Had the biggest crabs ever! This spot looks peaceful and not alot of people. My kinda spot!

Grilling them is the ultimate way to prepare crabs. I do them on large heavy duty aluminum foil, it catches the drippings and bakes it on the underside of the crabs to give it even more flavor. Oh yeah. You can do the same on a gas grill or in the oven set at 400 degrees for about twelve minutes.

Good video big dawg.i grill crabs all the time, a little step you can add to add a boast of flavor is after you clean them marinate them in(Italian dressing, garlic paste, W sauce and seafood dry rub) mix those in a bowl and pour over top of your crabs and place them in the fridge for 15 minutes, then put them on the grill indirect side so the smoke from the charcoal can cook through. Once they get done brush some garlic butter on them and they are ready 👍🏿👍🏿

I used to take thick tree branches from pruning in the yard, drill a hole and string up my crab pots. I never used tongs in the pier though. Didn’t need them until I got home to put them in the pot.

walmart has (in the sport section) lemon eucalyptus spray (dont get the pump, get the spray) and its safe.. it works big time.. my hubby and i love it … but you will smell like lemons, lol. when you go in the house, just shower or wipe it off with a wet paper towel. also, get you some motorcycle (riding) glasses. i used them when working in the yard,, it keeps them out of your eyes while you still look cool doing your thing. they have a cushioned ring around the inside that keeps them out. oh, and my most fav food in the whole world is blue crabs. 😊
