Conrad asked a very good question about mental health in wrestling. That's one thing I believe the new generation is better at. They're not drinking so much, they're not taking so many drugs, the use of steroids isn't so prominent because it's ok to be smaller and they're seemingly taking more breaks, at least in WWE, AEW and TNA, I don't know about the independents. Wrestlers talk to their families and see them a lot more often and they spend a lot of their time off watching shows and movies or playing videogames or in some cases sightseeing. The old school guys criticize this often because it's not the "rockstar lifestyle", but it's much healthier.
