Truth is the hardest thing for people to face. All the AEW wrestlers surround themselves with other similar indy style, video game , spot fest wrestlers, so they have no been told that their basics are garbage, their matches have no story at all, and everything they do looks meaningless. No one sells anymore, no one thinks of anyone else besides themselves, since they are all STARS now and they all know everything. As much as I don’t agree with the outright hatred of anything high-flying, I DO agree with that spot where everyone stands around obviously waiting for someone to dive. It never impressed me as I can clearly see them waiting together (because they have to in order to do this safely) and it’s something that happens all too often (both WWE and AEW).
