I was at this event with my Dad in Philadelphia. We were not in the front row, but we were close to the front and the security let all the kids run up to the guard rail each time a wrestler came out. Sting high fived me when he came out for the main event, awesome memory.

The crowd was in it that night. Loved seeing ECW hat guy in front and the crowd pop for the heels in the six man. Horseman, Midnight and Freebird, Philly respected that and that was the highlight for me

Jake was never on his game in this short WCW 92 run. Debuted strong and even got a little POP despite laying out Sting in the era when Stinger was far and away the top babyface and fans never went against booking (very few at least). But his motivations as simple as they were never even made much sense. “Ok I’m a Bad guy and want to end the career of Sting cause he’s a good guy” that was essentially it.

Thanks for the little puff piece about AEW at the beginning, Conrad. Even JR had to admit that Rampage has sucked although the company has been doing what they can to improve it. Pretty much everyone, even the super hardcore fans, agree that AEW has been the shits since the Punk/Elite blow-up - let's not pretend otherwise. A few minutes later, Conrad's giving a kicking to Damien DeMento, who never really got a fair shot in WWE. He was a glorified jobber for the whole time there and was saddled with that awful name and gimmick. I'm not saying he was an amazing wrestler but he deserved a better push and would've done better with his indie name Mondo Kleen and working a gimmick where he didn't hail from 'the outer reaches of your mind' or whatever bullshit Vince concocted for him.

Also, today's fans know what they want? A 3 minute match with an undersized Justin Bieber look a like (Hookberg) who can't cut a promo to save his life. Not mention two Rappers who are lost the minute the bell rings. As Becky Lynch said in a previous WWE promo...you don't know what you want. At this point, the basics of pro wrestling is tertiary.
