I've had several complete pass through on black tail broadside that the deer jumped and made it less than 20 yards and pile up. It's my broadhead of choice. With Easton fmj pushing them .

Id go to the 1 1/4" grim reaper fatal steel instead. Better chance of full pas through.

I have shot the fatal steels, whitetail specials, 1 3/4” razor tip. The 1 3/8” razortip is my favorite. They are extremely accurate with the blades in the open position too👍

Im using grim reaper 2 inch razor tips this year hopefully i can land a big bodied adirondack buck. But i heard the do good on bear as well.

If i'm shooting short distances I like to shoot with the blades open pro tip

The Grim Reaper Minimag with the shorter 1-1/4" blades open faster and give full sized entrance wounds even though being over the top.

Any tips on disassembling them? I bent a blade and can’t find any info on removing the cup. They have videos from 16 years ago but the cups are very different now.

Ive used a small screw driver in the cup blade slots and slowly pried evenly around.

Is there a poundage requirement to use these broadheads???

Not so much a poundage requirement as an energy suggestion. More than anything its based on a look at your total over all set up. What bow, draw weight, draw length, arrow weight, arroe diameter. Its about the system as a whole.
