Grim - Vanilla WoW Booty Bay Ganking (2005) VERY OLD!

Some VERY old ganking in booty bay (back in 2005!) as you can see, it is very different to what it is now (a lot better back then) - there were no guards, you could pvp and gank all day and night in there.
As you can see I had full nightslayer, perditions blade and core hound tooth, at that time, 99% of the server were still wearing greens/blues, so you could say this was ridiculous ganking such low levels, but I didn't care, red = dead was my old saying, and so long as I was killing someone it was OK by me ;D
You can also get an idea of the ridiculous lag on Al'Akir back then.

Aaaah this takes me back, I have many fond memories of going to Booty Bay and antagonising Horde players, and then watching the guards pummel them! I would go back to WoW, but the game has changed so much, most notably the talent system.

For sure man they changed soo much the last couple Pac have been weak but this one is really trying to bring wPvP back by giving incentives. If you were a fan of w pvp in pre bc/bc im fairly certain you'll like how they did it

The info is kinda wrong. There were guards, but during brewfest they're always inactive, even now.

It is also worth noting that, for the past two years at least, on the day after New Years the town becomes an even greater volatile place for active PVP. The guards of the bay all sleep following the drunken escapades of the night before and do not awaken until the 2nd of January. Thus, it is commonplace for the entire harbour to become a large battlefield which should be avoided by lower players.

I know its a small change but i miss the color changing health bars, how they get more red the lees health you have. It was a nice touch and i dont get why they removed it.

Classic Backstabbing at Booty Bay. The guards were put there because of Rogues and their backstabbing ways :P

+Bruce Baker I've never heard anyone refer to "vanilla" as being a bad thing. All the expansion packs have addon secondary-titles; vanilla was just the name given to the first, no-frills, basic version :) Vanilla rocked, and 99/100 who played it back then will agree - 'caues as you said, it was magical, wonderful and new
