This was quite the experience to actually get to take a look at a prototype of a board game. I found it pretty fascinating. Next time, I’ll try not to break any miniatures. @@soloflo I got it, too! Can’t wait to tear into it and play it! Unfortunately, some pipes in the house busted and caused utter chaos at my house. That literally turned this house upside down but nothing of value was damaged, thankfully. The fix is expensive but at least everyone is okay and that’s what counts. Once that is fixed, I want to dive head-first into some board games.

@@SoloBoardGamingKnight wow pipes is a huge issue. I got some problems too and what I did was actually tediously cover all my precious board games with plastic drop cloth to avoid any possibility of damage!! Scary stuff hahaha

Congratulations! You are no longer "just an other KZbinr". You have been blessed by one of the giants in the board game industry. Well done!! Hard work, discipline and consistency ultimately pays. Btw, great video as usual. Personally, I will pass on this game. Too many undelivered AR projects and while their last few titles were ok, they were just that, ok.

@@Biodelic Oathsworn has been great! I’ve enjoyed it but I am going at a nice and steady pace. Due to that, the game feels fresh every time I play it. That and I just really enjoy it. What I’m hoping to do is get my family and friends together to film one final homemade scary movie. Ever since my kids were little, I made them homemade scary movies with them being the stars of the movies. At first, I used those movies to teach them that there’s nothing to be scared of and showed them a behind the scenes look at how scary movies were made. That turned into a trilogy of anthology-styled homemade scary movies that has served as a type of time capsule showing how much my kids have grown. We also filmed two Batman and Robin movies but I don’t think my kids will be willing to don the costumes again 😂 My hope is that i can get my family and friends to create one more homemade scary movie. A more mature and not so kid friendly version that still maintains the silliness of the original trilogy while evolving. Now that my kids are no longer “kids,” that’s the only way I can get them on board. I’m strongly considering uploading the original trilogy of homemade scary movies and who knows? Maybe I’ll even upload the new one whenever we finish it. The new one will have a board game themed story that will intertwine with the other stories creating a hopefully entertaining and enjoyable finale to our scary movies. Now I just have to fix a few pipes that broke and caused chaos in our home before I get any other project started. You now have some insight on what’s been a going on behind the scenes over here 😉

First you are teasing us with homemade scary movies (and even B&R), just to instantly take it all away through limiting it to "considerations". Some of the bigger minis are difficult to see as well as the acrylic tornadoes and flaming skull. That might be due to them being a prototype but I’m not sure since this is the first prototype I’ve ever seen. Awaken Realms hasn’t let me down yet so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now, at least.

@@SoloBoardGamingKnight I watched another Grim Coven Unboxing video where the fancier minis were breaking, and the channel host said it was due to a different type of resin used for the prototypes. Obviously, it would be disheartening to release cool minis which easily crumble, so I'm sure Awaken Realms will address that. It doesn't remove the wow factor of this game!

@@chrisw942 It definitely has to do with it being a prototype. Several minis have broken just by touching them. They’re very delicate.
