This is the dopest Grimes song that's come out in a long time. i think Grimes is trying to get back to her ethereal vibes she used to have in her previous albums, she is just struggling because she has matured. she doesn't know how to go back there and forces herself and tries out a lot of stuff. i think the solution is here in Darq Souls. it sounds like her old ethereal vibe, but matured. she might never create Art Angels again, because she was in a completely different mindset, yet she could still create just as big masterpieces, I can see the potential in her. she just has to accept maturity and integrate it into her music. i think she and the world puts too much pressure on her.

Are demos by electronic acts usually this good sounding in demo form, been listening to new Grimes demos coming out lately, and when I typically think of a band demo in a classic sense (guitar bass drums vocals etc) they usually sound like pish compared to this. if this was cleaned up a little (just random little crackly/static noise's at some parts is all I mean) it if didn't have demo in the title I'd have to hear it come from her own mouth haha Hope it wasn't leaked on her though and put it up herself on that Discord thig she has. Still figuring it out how it works here lol, but am extremely grateful it wasn't some facebag thing.
