You've obviously put your lecture material into practice in your own life. Kudos for not being a hypocrite. Ergo.... you don't think. You don't want others to think. "Thinking Is Dangerous" isn't totally accurate. It's only dangerous for those without a moral compass. That leads to the differences of Ethics vs. Morals. Political Science, in of itself isn't evil sounding. But, what does the "science" actually entail when applied and acted on? (a) thru peaceful means (e.g. propaganda; advertising; training and/or educating.) or (b) Forced Compliance by laws and regulations. Worse case scenario, totalitarianism. So, without a good grasp on your "bannister" or without a moral compass to guide you, you will ethically think yourself into something that should be the proper solution, as long as it doesn't intrude on you, your social group, friends or family. The rest are just needing a guiding hand per se. Each of us is the Captain of our own ship (Freedom). Letting your ship drift in the wind or others to chart your course (no self-guidance), or not reading the navigation charts (no moral compass), is a sure way to wind up on the rocks.
