I feel like I was born a decade or two late, as all my favourite bands and artists were also my parents' favourites; Queen, Nirvana, Mötley Crüe, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, etc. Freddie passed just 3 months before I was born, but his legacy, his work, will live forever. An incredible man, phenomenally talented, taken much too soon by an awful disease, one that has taken people I've known personally as well. Thanks for this wonderful video, a delight as always.

Queen will always be one of my favourite bands. My late father was in his 20s when Freddie and co. burst onto the music scene here in the UK, back in 1974. He was an instant fan, blown away by Freddie's killer stage presence and powerful voice. To me, Queen and Freddie mean so much because they remind me of my father and the shared love of music we had. Growing up in the 90s, Queen was a constant presence, on cd, on radio, on tv, alongside other British greats like Led Zep, Black Sabbath, The Police, The Beatles, The Kinks and so many more. My father loved providing me with a musical education of the greats ❤ Freddie truly lived his life in the short years he had, and that is a huge inspiration.

Baby Ghoul is the cutest! So sad his passing and to pass in a pretty place! He died 4 years before I was born but I still loved his music, still do. So many people who have died now their deaths are speculated hard. Makes it hard for them to rest easy. Makes it even more sad to know damage was done at this beautiful cemetery. Breaks my heart when things like that happen. Just let the people there rest in peace. Awesome Up All Night tonight besties! So glad I was able to make it on! I joked in the chat saying how it was like my birthday party live since my birthday is New Years Eve! But tonight was the best night! And this video just adds to the beauty of it all. Much respect for all you both do to make these adventures happen! 🥰❤️💚 love you all

I've been to see his home and this cemetery 2 years ago. It's strange how his plague was placed in the crematorium garden area. I'm sure some of his ashes were scattered in the area. I want to phrase this as delicately as possible, but if you've only seen Bohemian Rhapsody, check out the documentary Queen: Days of Our Lives too (or better yet, instead). Also, please consider avoiding their Greatest Hits and most popular songs and just dig into their actual albums instead. There was so much more to Queen and Mercury than the popular image of them so to speak.

Thank you VERY much!!! Freddie Mercury was unique! I went to see his home in 1993/94 for the first when I was a teenager. It looked different back then. Saw many people not respecting the privacy of Mrs. Austin and her family over the years (e.g. climbing up between the wall and lantern), security came, staff became angry and so on. 30 years and many visits later, you two bring back lots of memories for me!! As far as I can recall, Mrs. Austin is the only person who knows, where Freddie's ashes are. He said to her "no one should dig me up" or sth. close to that. I agree. He was probably one of the best entertainers and a private person off stage. This video is highly recommended!!! Thank you so much!!! Kind regards from Germany, Nadine

Queen is one of the greatest bands ever and I appreciate you doing this. Great video. I get to visit these places knowing that I'll never have the opportunity to do so.

Freddie was the ultimate frontman & one of rhe greatest show men ever. I was 16 when he died, i was brought up on Queen & to this day still listen frequently to their songs. Freddie is so greatly missed, such a lovely wonderful man. Thanks Michael & Jessica for doing this vid, absolutley brill. Happy Halloween 🎃🎃

Saw them in the early 80's. By the last song of the night, NO-ONE was sitting.

Once I joined the funeral industry, I learned when ashes are “scattered” if done officially at a cemetery, a hole is dug and are loosely scattered/poured into the hole rather just scattering “into the wind” as a lot of people imagine or they can be interred if they are in say an ashes casket/urn.

That was, kinda, beautiful, and sad. I’ve been moved by this episode. My I add : as respectful as ever. I always had the impression he lived outside - just outside - London. I’m glad I was wrong, he always seemed to be so “London” in character and style and living behind a sturdy wall in West London fits the bill appropriately. Great video. ❤

Looks like this very private gentleman was correct: his final resting place should never have been revealed.

Visited Garden Lodge a few years ago after reading the book Mercury & Me, from his partner Jim Hutton. Documents Freddie's final days and it was surreal putting the location in my head after reading it. I recommend doing the same now you've visited! At least the final chapters. After visiting we headed straight to the O2 to see the current version of Queen, which was awesome! But felt we needed to tip our hat to Freddie on the same day.
