Resin Update #4

Hi all! Here is a resin update on some things I have been working on. I enjoyed making the beaded keychains and playing with the Game of Thrones themed pieces (as requested by some friends). Next time I create these pieces, I plan to make the house banners much bigger so the house name can be more easily read. Links below to some of the molds used. Hope you enjoy/get inspired. FAQ:
1. What resin do you use?
I use primarily East Coast Resin (www.eastcoastresin.com). I also use Famowood (found at Lowes).
Envirotex and Amazing Clear Cast are good too.
2. Where do you get your glitters and stickers?
I get them everywhere. Mainly Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Amazon and Etsy also help aid my addiction. lol
3. Where do you get your molds?
Craft stores, Michaels, Storenvy, and Etsy (LOTS of great choices on Etsy).
4. Where do you live (for temperature/humidity purposes with resin)?
My home state of Indiana (Go COLTS!) though I have crafted around the world/USA, with my husband, for the Army.
5. How long have you been resin crafting/crafting?
I have been playing with resin for about 3 years now. As for general crafting...all of my life. :)
6. What is your favorite sealer for resin pieces?
Doming with resin is always my main preference but if not doming with resin, I like to use TreeHouse clear acrylic spray in gloss (Hobby Lobby brand) and I LOVE Americana Dura Clear gloss glaze (works great for polymer clay too).
7. How do you seal your paper stickers?
I prefer to use non paper stickers when possible or transparency films the most, but
when I use paper stickers, I use the plastic sheeting/mod podge method as of now (the
straight mod podge method is way to inconsistent). Crafterzdelights and SugarCharms808 have great tutorials.

I adore the skull cabochon! The eyes are awesome! Question...how do you glaze/dome so perfectly over the bail? I have a trick I want to try but getting other ideas.

Amazing pieces. I like to use pvc/plastic stickers in my resin pieces as I have no luck sealing paper stickers. Where do you get your stickers from?

Thank you. 😊 I try to use plastic/PVC when I can as well. For this lot, the butterflies and cat were from Hobby Lobby, the Little Twin Stars I printed w LaserJet and sealed, and the Punisher/Game of Thrones banners I printed on transparency film w LaserJet. 😊
