Hey cap, I think you forgot the lighting modes for the VDI and the HUD (I also dont think you covered them elsewhere?). To change the HUD into a nice NVG friendly red night color you can pull the handle labeled 'FILTER' on the right of the VDI screen, just above the HUD trim rotary knob. You can do a similar thing for the VDI by clicking on the screen itself, to change it into red night mode.

same way you look at the instruments with night vision is how i look at my keyboard with a VR headset on glancing through the gap around my nose. :P

3:56. Note: You can only do this in 2D, because in VR, you're not looking through a toilet tube like a telescope, you're getting a different image in each eye, so everything's green :)

If only night vision would work for me, in VR all I get is a little oval of nv that's way too far outside my main FOV and too small to be usable
