If memeory serves me right you can also use your G-limit override to help give more AOA and make your self purposefully flatter attitude spin witb upwards of 50-60 degrees AOA and falling even slower.

And if your opponent also has X-Rays or an analog, you are pretty much screwed. Remember, low energy state works both ways: it's not only the Cobra that leaves you a sitting duck.

so.. the point is to slow down incredibly quickly so that you have a small as turn radius as possible? I wonder how this would work against something with "Super Maneuverability" like the SU-33 or something. Do you think this could be pulled off before they whip their nose around? what if you tried this while bypassing the g-limiter? Maybe I should go try this out myself.

You acheive a better turn rate with power pulled back on one engine inducing yaw. Try it.
