Went there without knowing the reputation and Me and the wife had a great night out and stay in Grimsby. Started afternoon beers in spoons and ended up dancing to live music in a pub. Met friendly locals. I will be going back again this summer 👍🏻

Sorry I missed you Billy I've lived in Grimsby all my life and it's not as bad as others make out. I could have shown you lots of nice areas as well as the bad areas. Grimbarins are proud and loyal people who still reminisce about the glory days of the fishing town . Sorry you came across that little scrot most grimbarians are friendly.

@@ThisisEngland1066 Yes, there's loads. Since 2020, the locals started to see a mass influx. Since then it's got a whole lot worse. Some days, while out and about you're lucky to hear any English speaking people. The towns a complete dump, there's always something kicking off down Victoria Street and you see people off their face on booze and drugs. You even see blokes that have just staggered out of one of the pubs stood in a doorway urinating. Unemployment has sky rocketed since 2020 and the homeless situation has also got worse these past 5-6 years too. There's also been quite a few stabbings and it's certainly not safe to be walking around after dark.

Hi Billy, Thanks for your vid. I've never actually ever been to Grimsby, and after watching your vid it looks like I'm not missing much!. It looks just like any other hard up place up and down the country. It always saddens me to hear about and see the very large homelessness problem we have in this country. Every poor area in England is described as the worst in the UK etc, so I don't pay any attention to titles like that as it can't be backed up with facts!. And I 💯% agree with you that Garriballdi biscuits are Great biscuits!!!. I haven't seen a Garriballdi biscuit since the early 90's!. Anyway Billy, Thanks again for your vid. John. 🤔👌

Some youths accused my son of being a grass. They had him in their flat after being matey in a pub, threatened to inject him with some drugs and placed an axe by his neck! He begged for his release! Luckily he got away! My friend's daughter was raped in an alleyway not far from her home and by two foreign guys. She drifted in and out of consciousness in a pool of blood. Thanks to her mum and sisters efforts the criminal got found and charged. The police were incompetent. The council treat people like something the cats dragged in, finding people who have had bins stolen liable to pay up for replacements for example and speaking to them as if they cannot be bothered. I spent only months there, it was dreadful.

You know the genuine homeless people, as here, are so sad. Makes me angry when we see a business set up, mainly in affluent cities of people claiming to be homeless and destitute that are there in the day, gone of an evening, their space taken up by the evening shift. Grimsby used to be a lovely looking place, very quiet, mostly for retired people. I am amazed at what is shown here. So sad, and when it used to be said Grim, that was not then true

As a man from Grimsby and still live here, I'm getting sick of these vids. Everyone is focusing on the bad stuff and essentially going down one street saying 'Chernobyl looks tidy compared to this'. KZbinrs come and video the worst street in town, see the homeless and the feral kids, which sadly every town has, not just in the UK but in every country on this floating rock. I'm not saying Grimsby is the best or easiest place to live but you can go to any town, city or village and find the same problems. I feel our town is being treated as freakshow rather than being treated like an illness that every name on the map has.
