Poor parts and real poverty all over the UK now, but Anfield has to be up there with the worst of them. God knows what foreign football fans think when they are visiting Anfield, especially those from former Eastern Bloc countries, things got better for many of them, whilst things got worse for many people in many parts of the UK went to rack and ruin, oh the irony ! Still our rich continue to get richer whilst our poorer get poorer, and we're still spunking billions of taxpayers money on unnecessary wars, that end up killing poor people similar to us from other countries.

I used to live in Richmond Terrace, I had no idea how fucked that neighbourhood had become until recently when I drove round there. When you commented on that house in Stonehill Street, what did you think and feel when you saw it Billy? You’ve come so far and done so much since then, good on you lad; well done. 👍

So what have the Labour Party actually done for the city of Liverpool ?
@fearlessjoebanzai7 күн бұрын
Everyone knows that Anfield is one of the most deprived places in the UK - only one League title in 35 years - they should probably knock it down and put them poor scouse lads out of their misery!

Great vid Billy. I met you at the game on Saturday (Sheff lad with my Dad). I’m actually a Wednesday fan and sat on Goodison Road end (not an away fan haha). Let me know if you ever plan to visit Sheffield and I can give you list of worst streets/estate. Tom

Imagine the outrage if a mosque got turned into church in our own country nevermind in theirs. The government should of never allowed our churches to be turned into another place of worship. That is an outrage in itself. Disgraceful what is happening to this country.

The worst part of Anfield is actually those new builds. At least the old stuff, poorly maintained as it is, has character and quality. New stuff is just ugly, completely unsuited to the area, and a testament to shady Fat Joe and his mates at Keepmoat. It wasnt redeveloped it was DE-developed.

I lived in Anfield for donkeys years, I lived in granton road, the community was boss, they forced us out to knocked all our houses down to make the ground bigger, wouldn’t mind our street was opposite Sam dods they destroyed the community ye know, it’s never been the same, makes me sad watching this video, we kept it nice, everyone had nice houses and all the mums would sit on the front while all the kids would play, sad to see it like this
@RS-xx9ve4 ай бұрын
So many beautiful old Victorian buildings could have been revamped. Instead they were replaced with tat. Meanwhile the stadium which could be a saviour to N Lpool is still being strangled because the shady mayor was an Evertonian and too pally with Keepmoat. Shameful.

Is that true what he says? That EFC put back into the community, but LFC don’t? Isn’t it more a council thing? Was visiting Liverpool in November, I’m from Swansea. Got to say the city centre is spotless and vibrant, but go a few miles out and it’s run down and dilapidated.

So much for having one of the biggest brands in world sport. Spend millions on players but almost nothing in the local community. So much for trickle down wealth.

Seriously is this a wind-up? This area looks amazing and so empty. Where are all the flower shrines on the streets for all the stabbed dead kids as you have in London? No traffic jams & ample parking and no crowds of thousands of 3rd world people and without the constant violent attacks & shootings. This area looks sedate & where old white men like" Lee" can sit out on the street smoke and have a drink without being killed. Absolutely heaven.

Anfield used to be a nice place many years ago then Liverpool FC bought some of the houses and left them empty for years it then turned into a 💩 hole just what Liverpool FC wanted as they got the houses cheaper. If you look at anfield and county road they have been neglected for years but Liverpool FC and Everton FC have made billions and their players are well off but the people in the areas have had nothing in return. And they are the ones who suffer each match day.

Instead of donating 1000 tickets per home game, why not sell the tickets to tourists and re-invest the money into the community. 1000 tickets x £50 each = 50k raised per game (or 950k per season) from PL matches alone.
