I wore the grooves off of the first Grin album when I was in high school and I've been a fan ever since. Never understood why his solo career wasn't more appreciated because he is such an incredibly talented and creative virtuoso. And a hell of a nice guy to boot. Thankfully, Neil and Bruce recognized the gift he gave us. Thank you Nils!

Nils Lofgren = One of the most underrated Rock and Roll musician of all time, yes,he's in the rnr hof along with The E Street Band Members but it's his music with Grin/Crazy Horse and especially his solo work that people should hear, this clip is great stuff ,especially doing the trampoline flip and continuing the guitar solo playing with his teeth...

One of the very most talented musicians. Early Grin concert, w/huge was of gum in cheek- played behind back, head, w/teeth, then ran hit mini-tramp flip... Landing in splits, then a NO HANDS STAND UP TO PERFECT TIMING VOCAL RE-ENTRY. Check physical condition of bands he toured w/&he inspired them ALL -TO BUFF UP MUSCLES(BRUCE, NEIL ... EVEN NEIL YOUNG showed BICEPS the night before leaving 4 Europian tour, Santa Cruz, CA. We are dancing on the tables!

I saw Grin all over the place in NOVA including the side of one of Fairfax co. high schools, the Alexandria Roller Rink and elsewhere. He, Danny Gatton and Roy Buchanan all existed in the area at the same time, with some clear cross pollination twixt them all. god I was a lucky boy.

no direspect- on this piece 34 years ago, m akes me think Prince saw this - was MJ doing the slide in 74? is that not what i saw? in some senses at this age, he was above anyone of his peers because the talent of a trained gymnast gushes over to the music side. i heard him say that he wished he could have led a true power band- i think a period of booze hit his confidence-but nils, this cut here may be a contender as "MOST PREDICTIVE " of what a power band had to do, but yours has no MTV fog/mist to hide blunders. It is better4 to be a has been than a never was, yet Nils still is, the harp, the sammy davis tapping vibe footwork, So the show energy has declined yet now forced to compete by guitar- well who EVEeR challenges Nils? knopfler invited him in and he stood in the corner in the dark, because no one wants to do a one on one. please alert me.

Lame, over used, and extremely tiresome reply. Is everyone whose opinion differs from yours required to be a superior musician than the one he states a distaste for? He did state unequivocally that this was "his humble opinion. If you do not enjoy a meal prepared for you by a professional chef, are you required to be able to prepare a better meal in order for you to state that you do not like the meal? I respect the musical and performing abilities of Lofgrin, but I too, thought there was not much to the song other than his over the top presentation. Please post one of YOUR songs so I know you have the credibility to have an opinion at all. Thanks in advance...
