I think the one you have now is perfectly fine. To me the distracting thing on some RS3 videos is just having 100,000 different things open at once. However to me, the UI is a bit small - I can't read the skills numbers so to me it's like "why am I seeing this". Which I get you want there. It's no problem but it's not *perfect*... imo.

@PharaohofAtlantis excellent feedback! Originally i planned on scaling the UI up but it looked gross on my screen so i dropped it back down. Maybe ill give that a shot again!

@@CreativeExcusesGamingif you scale the UI the alt1 toolkit doesn’t work. Also, the UI that I use I’m pretty sure fits everything you’re looking for and a little more. Check it out.

That is very good to know about alt1! Ill have to unscale the UI when I want to do clues then. Your UI definitely fits what I said in the video! Im watching your third episode right now while training agility lol

rs3 is bad engagement-wise, not much u can do about that. Not that many players/not that many people interested in watching it. Your videos are great, I wouldnt change anything :)

You could always try to emulate the fixed interface of OSRS, but getting rid of the problem entirely is kind of impossible in my opinion. In the vain of emulating OSRS, you can try playing around with the "game view" of the UI. You can resize it so that the interface doesn't overlap what the game shows, very much like the fixed mode of OSRS. In my own UI, I usually put everything in an "L" shape that covers the bottom and right of the screen, and crop the game view so it doesn't overlap anything.

So I have tried that and it actually drives me nuts 😂 I hate it when the character isnt in the center of the screen. If enough people wanted it Id give it a shot again though. Right now i have scaled the UI up quote a bit and i think that may help

funny enough; i love how old school’s fixed mode off-centres the player character/game screen. the entire screen is so, so legible & organised. in one corner you have the game, in one corner you have the minimap, in one corner you have the chat, & in one corner you have your inventory et cetera. just extremely well-laid out & fully optimizes the screen space without any empty, useless space. it reminds me of how in tournaments for certain games they would enlarge/modify/display HUD information for easy viewing in regards to the livestream, eg. having a player’s healthbar enlarged & constantly displayed in one corner. i suppose the intended effect can be achieved without off-centring the game view, but personally that seems off to me, & muddies the clean, distinct boundaries set. ofc it’s your game; display it how you like/what you feel is best. looking forward to the next one

Thanks for the detailed feedback! One issue is there’s more than four things to display in rs3 thanks to the wild west of ability bars. For the next episode Ive tried enlarging everything and cleaning up the lines a bit. Its not as clean as the osrs fixed mode, but it is still quite clean

the best content cration layout is OSRS Fixed mode, so the closest you get to that, the better.

@@CreativeExcusesGaming It’s only my opinion, look at Settled’s videos, it’s so clean and easy to see what’s going on, even for those who don’t play OSRS, the same for other content creators, the most amount of views I’d bet is on fixed mode videos because everything is easier to see.

So I just came back to play my Ironman this week after about a year not playing. Currently I’m f2p and mining all the ores for masterwork but grind after grind is the motto for Ironman accounts lol ! Keep up the good work
