I love the album, but this one serves even more of that Velvet Underground/Sonic Youth/Jesus & Mary Chain/Dinosaur Jr/Happy Mondays/Brian Jonestown Massacre/etc realness that’s packed into the original recording. And those lyrics! Nick’s lyrics are always on point, but here he’s on fire.
