It was good to see Edwin back on camera for more than 60 seconds. - Second, this beast deserves nothing less than a GHP first. So, I propose that you all make this your drag car. Keep that low profile, flaunt that rear shifting weight distribution under acceleration. put a proper motor in it then let her rip! - And lastly, please see the above two points. That is all XD

Yes , update n thrash it . 90% riding mower , 10% ingenuity when it was built . Id say for all purposes, just build a new frame /motor setup with more power, bigger wheels , chances are itd be broken anyway after a few rips. Save the old chassis tho cause its so odd and original. Possibility for a trans, old 3 hi, 3 low trans from a gt craftsman.

The previous owner used the running gear out a riding tractor. the body is a copy of the ZZ Top eliminator. it doesn't have much ground clearance. get rid of those self tapping screws. and either use screws with nuts and grind off the excess or use rivets. I believe it would be a good candidate to give the chassis a complete redesign. the body is pretty cool maybe leave the windshield and do away with the sides. so you have room to move your arms. it would be like a Powerwheels ZZ Top eliminator the only one in existence. research the ZZ Top eliminator and you will find who ever built the body got it pretty close.

That thing will never be an off road cart. You can throw lots of money and parts at it.. and before long those welds are going to start breaking apart. Keep it on road and on concrete or blacktop. Interesting design, brilliant in some ways. The construction is good.. with the exception of the welds.. which unfortunately hold it all together. Dont sress it and it will last a long time. Stress it by banging over stuff.. and it will fall apart in short order.

The best upgrades for it would be a new axle that is either chain driven or shaft driven with maybe 60 hp, maybe that is a little overkill, but it would help a lot

Just came back to watch some of the older stuff, and man what a great episode 🤣 you guys handled that like champs and figured it out as you went along. Definitely do some more episodes like this and like someone else said having ethan in the corner reacting/commentating to this would be awesome!

I would love to see you guys keep it , upgrade it and make it more off road capable . Who ever made this cool looking go cart did a fantastic job and must of had a great time doing so. Add suspension and other various cool things.

Pretty slick looks like it's built off a rider mower. Pretty slick how they rigged the clutch up. Man what a cool project. You can always use a socket and drill to start those briggs . Thats how I start my brigg raptor 3.

When your fighting a spark issue unscrew the plug boot and clip the wire back a little. Iv ran into old wires that I could save by doing that!

I think the moving engine and trampoline springs are an auto-tensioner for the drive belt. I imagine it would get very slack very quickly with spirited use.

I've used old garden tractors using old rudimentary clutch mechanisms like that. The only one I remember that moved the engine had it on a hinge, so engaging the clutch was tilting the engine backwards to put tension on the belt. It seems really kludgy, but it always worked properly. Just needs a new belt every few months.

Great job guys! Been watching for a few years and this is about the extent of my mechanics skills too. I probably should start paying more attention to what Ethan is doing. Lol.

I'd love to see a complete overhaul of the frame and motor. Maybe add some suspension enough to smooth out the rough bits of the track you guys have. Personally I'd turn it into the most badass dune buggy. The body is fantastic. The only mod I'd do to it other than fixing the self tapping screws, is to make a latch for the trunk hatch. It looks kind of messed up flapping up and down like it does. Pretty sick go kart with a lot of potential. I hope you guys keep it.

Keep and upgrade that beast. That thing would be Ballin with some suspension and knobby tires I would love to see a blind reaction video from Ethan on this video and the cart in genera! I that motor setup is going to melt his brain WTH! That is the craziest clutch rig I have ever seen!

You guys need to definitely do this kind of show more often. Extremely entertaining. A pulley change with that lawnmower drivetrain and then you’ll have the speed to match its looks but still no sinderella
