No Bro. Bahia is a State of the Northeast Region of Brazil. When a girl is born in Bahia we call her BAIANA. So, "Menina Baiana" (Bahian Girl) is a young woman who was born in Bahia State. Every state has this kind of "nickname". My State, for example, is Ceará. So everybody that is born here is called CEARENSE.
