It's all because of the "Gringo Challenge" (#desafiogringo) I issued to the jiu-jitsu community late on Wednesday night. In honor of our first ever live show in Portuguese on FloGrappling, Conversa com Campeões, I asked non-Brazilians to send us videos of themselves speaking Portuguese to show that us "gringos" can speak Portuguese too!

Wow! Jake’s Portuguese slangs are on point! If it wasn’t for the way he said “diferentes” (5:16) I wouldn’t be able to tell that he’s not Brazilian. Very good Rio accent. Same goes for Giancarlo and Cole, but they spoke with more of a São Paulo accent. Great stuff!

Difícil heimmm!? a maioria fala muito bem, mas quem mais me impressionou foi o Cole Abate. Fala fluentemente e quase sem sotaque. Acredito que seja pela idade.
