Amazing product and excellent results! I tried all kinds of stuff (liquid sprays) that didn't do a thing to the water spots. This did require me to buy a new tool, but it's well worth it! It completely removed the water spots and made the glass look brand new! Thanks for your excellent product and demonstration video. Next the shower!

Awesome results, I had waterspots on my glass that has been driving my nuts. I tried many different things before I finally found this video. I gave it a try and I am extremely pleased with the results

I had a car in the shop the other day... I think maybe a newer corolla that I was working on that had some sort of weird long runny type etchings in the windshield. Typically our go-to tool for this situation is steel wool with any sort of lubricant, in this case, that definitely did not work, however, this stuff did. I am not sure Sam's technique here would have been the best though, specifically the tool he is using, I had to really go ham on it with my new G21 at full speed with some heavy pressure before I got it out, dont know if a lower performance buffer would have gotten it, it definitely would have taken much longer, and in the world of retail recon work, speed is king

Bought and tried... works as described but dusting is awful. Just clay the glass, DA with Correcting Cream, and wipe with glass cleaner.

Will this remove scratches? From wiper blades

It depends how deep they are, scratches in glass are very hard to remove and this product is more for hard water spots on glass. If they are very slight scratches it may be worth a shot.

I used Chemical Guy heavy duty spot remover and it destroyed my windshield on my Mercedes S550, now its hard to trust any spot remover because they want $3000 for a windshield at the dealer.

Hi Gerald, we're so sorry to hear that another product caused damage to your windshield! Our Fine Glass Polish is specifically formulated to be incredible safe and we wouldn't offer it to our customers if we weren't 100% sure that it is capable of removing water spots/polishing without causing any damage.

@@GriotsGarage horrible product caused marring to my windshield followed your instructions to a T. And I must add I purchased it from Amazon and one of the glass polishing pads was tan color and dry so I know it had to have been used, which might have been Amazon's fault but nonetheless waste of time, money + headache

Can I get out scratches out of the glass with this, I have 2012 VW GTI and I got a bunch of fine scratches on my windshield after going through one of those drive through car washes.
@GriotsGarage
@GriotsGarage 7 жыл бұрын
Fine Glass Polish is designed to remove hard water spots primarily. There are some light scratches that can be removed but glass is such a hard surface that deeper scratches can not.
@TheTransporter100
@TheTransporter100 7 жыл бұрын
The scratches are hard to see unless the windshield is dirty and even if it's clean you can't see them except when the sun hits it at a certain time of the day (late afternoon) Also you can't feel them. What about the regular glass polish I have some of that (BTW why did you stop selling the regular Glass Polish)

Don't you also offer a "Glass Polish" for more serious water spots and staining? What happened to that product?
@GriotsGarage
@GriotsGarage 4 жыл бұрын
Hey George, this is our only Glass Polish however with glass you can keep polishing until the water spots are completely gone. If they're really on there it may take a number of passes.

Clay bar and glass cleaner works well. I like to use a glass sealant every 3 months to make the glass slick.

I still have the original glass polish and my mom just got the fine glass polish, is the original going to be easier to do by hand or should I use the fine glass polish?
@GriotsGarage
@GriotsGarage 4 жыл бұрын
Given the age of the original polish we'd suggest discarding it as it is likely passed it's shelf life and using the fine glass polish.

Thanks for the video. Can this glass polish be used with your finish foam pad?
@GriotsGarage
@GriotsGarage 4 жыл бұрын
The softer density of the pad would not work well. The most effective combination is to use our Glass Polishing Pad. A BOSS Fast Correcting Pad, or Correcting Foam Pad can work and may require more passes. If you use these foam pads, we recommend marking them dedicated to glass, and not use on paint going forward.

BOSS Correcting Cream, Complete Compound, or Complete Polish are better suited for this. It is best to try a small area first to check your results and technique.

@@GriotsGarage. Thank you for responding. Now it depends on cost, so, does the company provide small samples for testing on small areas? Just asking.
@GriotsGarage
@GriotsGarage 5 жыл бұрын
Complete Compound & Complete Polish are a lower price point than the BOSS Creams. We don't have a regular line-up of samples. When we do it tends to be for a short run and available at major shows and from our national events team that travels around the U.S.

Ok, I tried the DIY (chemical) method and it did nothing for me. So then I tried this product (with a power buffer) like was demonstrated here and while it reduced the spots, it did not get rid of them. Retried it again, and it was a little better but "crescents" of the water spots still remain. Still not willing to put a protectant on the glass until I can get rid of those crescents. NOTE: these were not old dried on water spots, the car is less than six months old. It was from one "nasty" rain. There was a protectant on the window that beaded the rain but due to slope where parked for the afternoon it didn't slide off and dried that same day. Washing the car revealed the problem of the water spots/etching.

Hey Michael, fortunately with glass you can just keep polishing until the water spots are gone. Are you polishing by hand or with a machine?
@MakunaRGBIC
@MakunaRGBIC 4 жыл бұрын
@@GriotsGarage Machine. Are you supposed to keep going after the polish dries and starts to flake off? I stopped at that point.

@@MakunaRGBIC your not suppose to let it dry. looks like you did too much polishing. try doing 30 seconds polish then wipe and repeat. you may have over polished which caused the flaking
