Anything in a shop can cause damage especially when dealing with high end cars, foam all corners end of problem

Go to Home Depot and purchase those 48" sections of pipe insulation that are sliced down the middle and wrap all the framing of the stool . Suddenly it's safe around all surfaces, and you can use that monster stool again!

I wish some reviewers would go back and edit or update their videos Griots has changed many items on this creeper over the past 6 years so many of his complaints are no longer valid

Can you comment on the ability for this to roll over uneven concrete? I have some pitted spots in my garage and my Torin Big Red doesn't handle them well at all.

@@autofanaticcars im using this shop seat now, so easy to put together and it feels great! Using it to scuttle around inside my low roof camper van, love it.

@@annag467 how's the comfort to sit on it for long durations of time? Is it uncomfortable due to the plastic seat?

@@reeseboi8704 yes it will be uncomfortable after an hour of sitting unless you add a foam pad or cushion. It didnt come with any cushion, its like sitting on a Fisher Price children's lunch bench because the seat is hard plastic. The seat width is comfortable, and i like to grip the sides while i wheel a distance greater than one scoot.

Hi, can you tell me if its possible to take it apart so its flat enough to transport in a large suitcase ?, it looks like it will from the video .i am gonna pick one up when visiting my brother in Florida in a couple of weeks and bring it back with me hopefully in the suitcase. looks like 4 Allen bolts holding the red plastic sides on to me, any advice welcome.

Same product via another name PowerBuilt does indeed come with a seat cushion that covers the harder plastic built in seat. And that seat they say doubles as a knee pad for particular need to kneel down off of the seat for a moment or what have you.

David Dear side pieces. are useless for any product keeping, Griots did not design this unit another company sells it and Griots went to the manufacture and had them make it in red. i am considering designing and manufacturing my own in the new year.

besides the storage issue its just fine but if you need storage look for something else.

Mark Ching the Griots is awesome but not out of the box, go check out my video how i modified mine and customize it

I did see that video, very nice modifications. You'd think someone would actually design a proper creeper for detailers. I personally use a craftsman, but the wheels are slightly bending and the seat cover is starting to tear and it's actually not that old. I only use it when detailing cars. I'm thinking to replace the wheels with higher quality wheels. It wasn't cheap to begin with.

tejael1 works as a good stool but storage is horrible as i show here, i will modify mine to make it more usable to store my bottled when working and mod the seat for greater comfort
