Just wanted to compare the grip angles between two of the most popular handguns in history.
I don't think it matters as much as people say for the average shooter. I think there are a few other aspects that could more dramatically effect your presentation.

I have to disagree that it’s negligible solely based on presentation. I shoot glock a lot and it’s extremely noticeable when switching to a 1911/2011 style grip angle.i agree when you talk about a new shooter or something of that nature. You deserve more subs bro. Great stuff

Yeah I'm definitely not a good enough to tell a difference so I can only speak from my little experience between the two. I also have a lot more trigger time on my Glock. In hindsight I should have compared the p320 to the Glock and 1911 as well. I appreciate that bro!

You may say that the grip angle difference is not a big deal, but it is. It's only a 4* difference between a glock and a 1911, but that cause me to aim high when i present my pistol with my eyes closed. I do this to know where my natural point of aim is and how much different my sights align to the target. Im not a competitor, but i carry everyday and i carry a pistol that i can present with my eyes closed and when i open my eyes the sights are aligned well enough to hit a sillhouette at 10 yards, typically in the A zone. When i point with a glock, the barrel is pointing upward, and i have to consciously bring the muzzle down to align my sights. 4 degrees off at 10 yards is 24 inches. Grip height, grip size, gip angle, bore axis are all important factors to conside when buying a carry pistol, but natural point of aim is very important to me.

There is definitely a difference. I think that it all comes down to preference. My Zev Tech definitely feels different than my Glock 23. Both are very accurate, but I prefer the Zev Tech over the G23.

The bore axis on a CZ is lower because the rails sits inside the frame. I have a PCR and that is the design. I think the grip angle isn’t that far off the 1911

Grip angle means nothing to me. The wider beaver tail on the glock is the ONLY reason i dont own a glock.

I’m a fairly new shooter I can tell a whole lot between say a Glock and M&P grip angle. With the Glock I have to break my wrist over way more or I’m shooting way high. Which personally I don’t like. Imo the M&P feels softer then the Glock. Flocks have low bore axis same with M&Ps but the Glock feels more straight back harder in my wrist when recoiling.

Trying to figure out this little thing though. If Glock is so great with its grip angle, why the hell does every competition shooter uses anything but a Glock? I used to be a Glock fanboy myself, but after watching others and actually giving other brands a 'shot', I ended up going with Walther and SIG.

I think the general consensus is that the 1911 grip angle is the best for point-ability. I just don't think there's that much of a difference in the grip angles between a 1911 and a Glock to make a difference for 99% of shooters. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people that shoot competition with Glock though. I actually work with one of them. The g34 is a very popular fullsize competition gun.
