You are absolutely - without doubt - strong enough. You should be strong enough to do a clean rep. It's difficult for me to pinpoint what goes wrong in your technique - but if it still doesn't work for you with the tips in my muscle up tutorial video, my guess is that it's a timing problem, or maybe your elbows aren't tucked in the transition phase. Sorry for the unspecific answer, I need footage :/

Hey man! I will for sure make some videos going more into depth about this topic! But for now, you can try a simple workout structure in which you do pull-ups until you can't anymore (however many sets that might take), followed by some explosive sets with a band, and then lastly some sets of rows/australian pull-ups (2x week). If you need a tip to feel your back, implement some scapular pulls (changing from active to passive hang - you can youtube this until I make my own video about it) in your warm-up, and then start every pull-up in your workout with an active hang (so starting with a scapular pull, and then the lat/arm pull afterwards). It takes a while to get proper mind-to-muscle connection in this area, as you can't watch the muscles work. I hope it makes sense for now, good luck!
