Thanks for taking me in past. I traveled in 1996.from Rawalpindi to Mangora whole day and road was so narrow you have to stop to let go other car or bus.From Mangora to kalam again nine hours, and they used local drivers because regular drivers can't drive on those mountains winding roads. Beautiful Swat! Also, the houses and older buildings are in harmony with the landscape. Not so much the newer construction. It pains me to see ugly, 3 or more storey buildings in our own Himachal Pradesh as well. A little more thought should go into the design, facade and materials, to make it blend in with the beautiful surroundings in which they are situated.

Or behrain se 5/6 hours ka thaka denay wala safar tha Kalaam tak ka Dobara kabhi socha bhi wahan jaanay ka magar ab road ki condition dekh kar dil machal gaya hai...
