Continuing with my Normans in Sicily project I have started painting up the archers from the Gripping Beast plastic Arab infantry set. They are OK although a little limited on poses.

The wash and dry brush really work, maybe a bit more dust effect??

I really like the look of the unit I dont think you went to vivid with the colour scheme because traditional the arabs did have bright colours especially in Sicily

Thank you for the video! Warriors of Middle East seem not very popular .. I have been looking for proper arabic army for my victrix Norman army that I turned into first crusaders , so I can’t make up my mind .. some people say GB not as good as victrix , the rest like footsore , Perry are quite costly .. can you advise GB can do the work ? Cause the price is really good for 40 guys (it’s almost a Army!) .. thank you !!!

@@BootsontheTable thank you for reply sir , I have already placed an order , after browsing of few sites in uk I couldn’t find affordable + quality arabic minis, footsore are great but they look like old cast plus a bit costly , so I decided to go for GB and also I took a mix from New line design minis. I guess painting as well makes the figure looks great , like yours. Again many thanks for reply !
