i've just finished the series too. i feel sorry about how Griselda was bullied by so many men along her way, including her awful second husband who forced her to do something so terrible with his brother. i feel that she was forced into this bad business by a lot of the emotional trauma inflicted upon her by the men she trusted. obviously she turned into a bad person but i wonder if it was caused by her traumatic life experiences before that.

I love Sophia, playing the role of Griselda, but I hated the production of this piece. You really didn’t tell Griselda story properly, but Sophia did at her ass off, and was excellent in it. I hope that people don’t attack Sophia for the production that put on a horrible display at Griselda story.

As someone who has studied griselda blanco + many of the other gangsters for YEARS I believe in my heart of hearts that sofia is way too pretty and too tall to play Griselda. just my opinion. also, no one in her inner circle and not even her SON Michael was contacted for this movie and I'm sure they will include his kidnapping in the movie as well and when she had Sepúlveda taken out. Do I love that Griselda made it to NETFLIX? Absolutely. Just would have liked it to be have been more authentic and happy they chose sofia for this over JLO.

ALOT of things pissed me off with this show. 1. I couldn't wait till when Griselda was going to fill that chubby curly hair Papo, and finally, they don't even show it!...2. Griselda goes to wack someone with her sicarios while she is frozen in front of a person looking at her, and she doesn't do a damn thing..3. She burns down the mountains of cocaine, how the hell they gonna sell it????.... That was it for me...This bad story telling, bad writers and bad directing. No wonder Season one only has 6 episodes. And why does Griselda not carry a gun?? Plus they dont even show how much money she was brining in... omg..I'm done..Sorry if I spoiled anything, if I did good, dont watch it, this show is bad.

The documentary called Cocaine Cowboys and another one made not long ago show the real Griselda's childhood where she kidnapped a boy and murdered him while she was not even a teenager yet. The fact she made excuses being a drug lord for her sons to have a better life was a big lie. She became just like her mother thinking all about herself. This mini series glorified the fact she was upset about the little boy who was murdered in a car while with his father. The truth was Griselda celebrated the boy's death coldly. Her youngest son the only one who didn't lived the life his mother had her 3 oldest sons involved in. Griselda should had known she will reap what she sow losing her 3 sons. Her last husband was right she wasn't a good mother. Every drug lords was scared of Griselda because her past lovers confirmed the evilness they felt from her.

Thought it was very good. Sofia Vergara looks nothing like the real life Griselda, but SV wanted this series to get made, and wanted the role, so i can get past that. [spoilers] The timelines were pretty slippery in this version. What was distracting was that in the later episodes enough years had passed for Michael Corleone to be born and grow into a little boy. The two older sons were young men by now, but Osvaldo was still 11 years old after all this time? 🤔Makes no sense.

In my opinion, Vanessa Ferlito´s acting was much better than Sofia Vergara´s. So Vanessa should have played Griselda´s role and not Sofia. The Show is OK, but it wasn´t WOWWWWW!

I hate to say it but I thought Sophia V was not convincing me for a role of this magnitude. It's like Tom Hanks trying to play Tony Montana. Great actress, did the best she could, but not convincing. The series itself was not accurate according to Cocaine Cowboys. Overall, this whole series was a big disappointment and I wanted to love it.
