TRIG Contains the same letters as GRIT We can try to note things and people that TRIG(GER) our motivation ON and OFF (For example, we can note how people MOTIVATE or INHIBIT us and give them credit) ======================================================== TNX MCH

Incredible video, Productivity Game. Can't wait to see your next upload from you. I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your discussion on the relationship between talent and effort really resonates. How do you think the concept of grit can be applied in educational settings to foster resilience among students?

Long term achievement comes from sustained effort, fascination with your goal, daily improvement, a sense of purpose, and a growth mindset

Really not much in this book. 😢 How to develop grit: * Develop a fascination: Find questions that fuel your passion and curiosity. Explore past struggles, deepening interests, and inspiring individuals. * Strive for daily improvement: Isolate one sub-skill to improve, get precise feedback, and make practice intense and focused. * Focus on a greater purpose: Connect your work to something beyond yourself. Consider the skills you're building, future opportunities, and who benefits from your effort. * Adopt a growth mindset: Believe in your ability to learn and grow. Remember past learning experiences to challenge fixed mindset beliefs. That's it? Uh oh.

@vinoto are you doing all of these things, or you just 'know' the information and therefore this book's content is underwhelming?

GRIT ? Think of GRIT as the coarseness of the SURFACE you move through ? TRACTION happens, as we move through the GRIT, step by step, each time. (Perhaps the ROUGHNESS of GRIT can add INTEREST to our movements in TIME ?????????????????????????????????????????? TIME = EMIT backwards TNX MCH

And then there was a paper published by some researchers (i cant remember the name of the paper or the researchers, but I checked it online and it exists, for the doubters) that showed that *LUCK* is the biggest determinator of success (this includes who you were born to - genetics that form your type of intelligence), that, in itself is luck. But of course, if you dont have grit and hard work and social skills to combine with luck, even the best opportunity before you won't get recognised or taken advantage of.

"Chance" is a chapters in Kahnemans Thinking Fast, Thinking Slow - “We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events.” - this doesn't mean GRIT is unimportant ;-)
