Gritti's story starts with Marc Sadler's desire to modernize the culture of the Venetian conception of glass and lighting. He began by focusing on the history of glass design, illumination and surveying the many different styles and techniques that exist. He then developed this new concept with the aim of offering something completely new and different to the glass lighting industry.
Gritti is the linkage between the Venetian heritage and the contemporary vison.

Exactly I want to subscribe and I did but there is nothing finished and I know that's part of the anticipation and enjoyment but very let down bc this craft definitely interests me but "we" need more Please.

I agree, and in the shorts and even the other longer video, they never show the finished product! Like that's the most rewarding part of the end that I want to see

I was initially drawn to Sylcom and Gritti Design because of the use of metal dies to form the molten glass. Intricate well formed molds with a vision for the end product. Light, glass and metal. Bravo Sylcom and Gritti Design. Thanks for re-igniting my passion with your beautiful work.

I love that you stay within tradition and yet have no problems with forging ahead with new innovations within your art. I personally believe that is what true creativity and love of the process means. Keeping tradition and not being afraid to try something new. This is how we end up with true masterpieces in the end.
