@@JamesKisau I dont play legacy but i play timeless on mtga and i’ve been using kaito as a finisher in my dimir, grixis control decks the past week and he’s been crazy good against less creature heavy matchups or in control/tempo matchups

It is kind of flexible. +1 is a safe snowball powerhouse, 0 is nice in topdeck mode and -2 is superior tempo. Given it is uncounterable and also +1 mana drawback is not much when on the backfoot. It is hard to see disadvantages. I even consider adding extra copies as it is FOW pitch-able.

Round 2 reanimator opponent scooped because they didn't have any outs. The pests have summoning sickness and cling covered all of their reanimation (unless they had exhume, which I haven't seen much lately), so Borrower flying over for the last 3 points gets you there. You also could've saved Bolt for that reason.

Why play grixis control over jeksai or bant? Is it the existence of Orcish Bowmasters? Thoughtseize? Sideboard options? Would love to hear your perspective on this as someone who's new to legacy and that's been enjoying playing your list.

@2:39:33 you didn't put your bowmaster in for the 1 point of damage and lost the first game in the finals potentially because of it (though they probably had the push or the bb in hand, but we didn't know about it. was curious why you didnt put it in for the point of damage when racing, I guess you were nervous.

Didn't watch this one yet but played the deck at 50 player tournament and faced two other Grixis decks those were running just new cards like Murktide, Tamiyo, Nethergoyf and Frog and got completely annihilated :(
