I'm very grateful you picked my exhibit. I had honestly never considered being able to decorate over the walls with rocks, logs, etc. That blew my mind and really got me thinking on ideas for the full release next month. The rebuilt structure is also a huge source of inspiration. Made me realize I need to think about more verticality, multiple components, rather than just working exclusively with the roof tiles sets. I look forward to seeing this series continue! Just popped into my head how maybe instead of a flat ceiling in the structure, have some exposed wood Trus beams to go with the North American forest vibe.
@Geekism5 жыл бұрын
Awesome! That’s exactly the kind of thing I wanted to get out of this series :) also, yeah an exposed roof with beams would be fantastic!

River your builds are great, you should get your own KZbin channel, I would watch it every day and sub right away! I would love to see more of your builds and how they improve! You rock!😀

These vids are great fun, kudos to the punters for having the guts to have their efforts smashed and slapped apart! Surely this should be called "Pimp my hide" though?

Great series, keep it up once the game goes live. It's sometimes great to learn from other people's non-perfect designs and see, what could be done better. When looking at your or any other KZbinrs videos with fantastic designs of habitats, I always think: Yeah, that's great, but my habitat would probably not look so good. So seeing, how habitats can be enhanced, is very useful, as I learn to look at problem areas.

I rlly love the whole things that we could do on our habitat, we can make every decoration. Just let your imagination fly and build the most amazing zoo ever
@thebluebutterfly51775 жыл бұрын
it is great, definitely your best so far, but they did actually say Grizzly Falls instead of Grizzly Ridge. easy mistake, doesn't take anything away from the beauty of the pimping.

Thanks so much for these great vids! At first I focused solely on the animals and just plopped facilities down as needed, but all of your awesome builds inspired me to try prettying things up a bit more. Yesterday I spent most of the day completely redoing my zoo, spent more time on the planning and scenery, and was so soooo happy with the results. I can't wait to keep building my skills in the final release, and will definitely keep watching your vids! So excited for zoo school. I want to recreate the NC Zoo (my "local" zoo) in some ways so it will be neat to see how you translate those real life exhibits into PZ.

Just wanted to say that I've been watching your videos lately and man, they've been an eye opener for the building system. This system seems to be a bit more refined than Planet Coaster's one and you kinda sold me with the building tutorial to get the game. Thanks a lot.

Love this series, such a great idea! I ended up going back and redoing my rather embarrassing Galapagos tortoise exhibit because of you. It was the first exhibit I made and... definitely lacked effort. I like to think they're happier with the improvements (even if, well, they're tortoises and probably don't care)

Great habitat 😊 would be nice though with some way to be able to look inside their sleeping area behind the waterfall. Maybe one way glass and a path for guests? You know better than me, of course, what works and do not work. I need more videos from you and can’t wait for the game to launch!

This reminds me that the grizzly's range used to extend down through California (hence the state flag), Arizona, New Mexico, and deep into Mexico. The Mexican population wasn't killed off until the 1960s (after having been isolated from northern populations in the 1920s).

And another great pimp! You really seem to know all deco stuff already. How do you do this, I mean do you place each and every deco stuff just once to see what's there or is it just by trying out different things for each habitat?

To make this a little more realistic... A Zoo wouldn't dare have tall trees that close to the walls. Younger bears can climb them easily. Even a crafty adult could probably prop themselves up on top of the rock structure in the back in at least 2 locations from what I saw. Easiest being the tree by the bridge as a small ladder up to the lip. Which would then become stairs up to the wall.
@tresillianofficial5 жыл бұрын
that intro was very David Firth
