I'm looking to to do this swap on my 2024 Grizzly 700 SE. I primarily use it for yard work, and my property has a lot of steep hills and some pavement. The Mudzilla tires are causing horrible ruts that have now turned into channels for water when it rains. I'm hoping that these new tires will help with traction and reduce the amount of dirt being thrown around when hauling up to 1,000 pounds uphill. I also plan to use the Grizzly for plowing in the winter and am skeptical about the Mudzillas holding up for plowing on pavement.

After seeing where you ride. Ya your tire swap makes alot of sense. No wonder a mud tire wasnt meeting your standards in the desert, as those Tusks wouldnt get me very far in north Canada! Great Video!

Thanks for the great videos. Curious what you think about the trilobites vs megabites? Having trouble making a decision between the two.

Well the trilobite is basically a totally different tread it's more like the maxis bighorn. It really depends on what kind of terrain you're riding in. I prefer a tread like this that has a tighter tread pattern in the middle for a smoother ride on hard pack but if you're never riding hard pack then the trilobite will work great as everyone seems to love the Max's bighorns and the trilobite is a copy of that. Really depends on your riding area and riding style. Thanks for the view and the comment I appreciate it!

Just ordered a set of Megabytes for my 2024 Grizzly 700. I ride on a variety of terrain, some hardpack, a little mud, etc. The only pavement I ride on is my driveway so that's not an issue. Here in the Southeast most people love to ride in a lot of mud but I don't. The Zillas are terrible about throwing rocks and mud, so I'm looking forward to the Megabytes.

I think it be fine but no power. If I did it again id run 26s on 12" wheels

Any noticeable loss of power given the slightly heavier tires? These may be a good option for me as well as I have the exact same machine. Interested in your thoughts after you have had more time with them. Will add them to my short list.

No power loss. Feels quicker actually due to the grip im assuming 🤷🏻‍♂️

It looked like you released a parking brake when you got on the bike. Is that correct? New grizzlies don't have a park brake from the brake lever. Let me know if you have one how I can get one on mine. Great video.

No there's no parking brake on mine either. I just pulled the break in in order to shift into high gear from park.

Happy to hear someone saying zillas aren’t the best tires. Everyone said they are the best and I bought them. I was disappointed. Definitely depends on riding conditions though. Zillas DO throw rocks like crazy!! I thought my plastics were going to get destroyed

I definitely aren't good for dry desert climates that's for sure. They have their purpose but they're not the best volterrain multi-purpose tire that could have been put on this machine. I think some people don't know any better also and they bought the machine with those tires and think that they're great and even some that don't like to admit they're not because they think it's declaring they made a bad purchase.

Is the actual widths different than what is listed on the tire? Are they exactly 10 inches wide?

They are pretty true to size unlike the stock tires

How did you like the tires at hatfield mccoy? I have 25" bighorns on one grizzly and it does excellent but the other grizzly is a 19SE like yours (with the factory 14" and zillas). Wanting to replace the tires and/or rims on it (but not wanting to spend $1500 on both and really like the look of the factory rims). How is the handling/turning/accelerating our of corners? My zillas don't have predictable traction in those situations. I ride in arkansas and it is dry/wet/rocky similar to hatfield mccoy. (vids on my channel). Hope you had a great trip. Have you had yours out to the dunes? The 700 does very well with 28" paddles....sometimes you can find some on marketplace off of an early year YXZ that are bolt on (need spacers in rear)

The tires did amazing at Hatfield McCoy. It was a great trip i have a few videos up already from that trip and i have 3 more coming. When i go to the dunes i take My 2020 Raptor 700r

@@OdysseyOffroad I would love to have a raptor set up for the dunes but had to switch over to grizzly to make it easier on my back. Your brother's two polaris 1000s's will be amazing at the dunes. I would love to ride one of those, I bet they just float.

This is stock size tires on the SE. 27x10 all around. I would check out Rocky Mountain atv if they have the size you need for a base model.

@@OdysseyOffroad I'm 3 or 4 hours from the Paiute trails. I'm up near Flaming Gorge in Vernal Utah. The Uintah Basin is mostly BLM land with National Forest. We have riding areas that are amazing on the BLM land and some trails systems in Ashley NF.
