Is it also on demand 4wd? so you can have 2wd & 4wd?
@atvdirt15 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's a on demand system that also has the option to lock the front differential into full positive traction.

Nice video. Looking at a 2009 grizzly 700 on Craigslist now. My 2007 arctic cat 650h1 is getting played out.

the grizzly I have has a snorkel kit on it but if I went in deep water or much would it mess up the electronics?
@atvdirt18 жыл бұрын
Ryan, that's a loaded question... If you're going to do a lot of deep water riding I would certainly step up the preventive maintenance. Electrical grease on every connection would be important as well as checking the condition of drive line fluids after every ride. Riding in deep water on occasion shouldn't be a issue for you're Grizzly with proper maintenance. I personally tend to avoid deep water unless it's unavoidable.

I dint plan going completely under but but maybe up to my kees but not often mostly go fast through mud and what that's kee deep or be low

Ryan, thanks for reaching out. The Grizzly is a dependable and well built quad. On almost every purchase we miss areas that need attention: tie rods, axles, bearing, ball joints, ect. To be safe budget $400-$500 on unexpected repairs. Take your time looking it over and make certain the engine is in good function.

+Ryan Miller Put it this way my friend My 2007 700 is just about to have 26,000 miles on it believe it or not, and I am finally going to put a new drive belt on it, and both new rear CV axles just because they are just starting to make a little noise every so often, I did not buy this Grizzly new but it only had about 100 miles on it when I bought it and I already owned another 2007 700 that was the ducks unlimited model I sold it to a buddy with about 7000 miles on it, the one I kept is the special edition model, I did have to replace the stator on it at about 3500 miles but other than that nothing but normal maintanence stuff like oil changes and keep the air filter good and clean, and put good clean standard 87 octane fuel in it, and I use my quad pretty hard nearly every day for work and play, and I am a big guy at about 350 pounds, never been broke down on either machine (asside from the stator and come to think of it just had to replace the battery about 2 years ago on the one I kept and my buddy had to replace the battery on that one about the same time), 5000 miles aint bad at all wouldn't scare me a bit so long as it looks like it aint been hammered and they did the maintanence stuff, keep the oil changed often with the best quality stuff and the air filter nice and clean at all times and oiled with the best filter oil and like mine she will most like keep on going for a loooong damn time.

I would love to know where you are riding we have no place to ride anymore they build houses everywhere New Jersey

Bob, we're based out of Kentucky. Many great areas to ride down here. Some of our videos are done on private land and others are pay to ride public. Can recommend some areas if you get down this way.
