1/19/24..ok, thx for your honesty re: impatients/anxious to 'get going'/cutting with 'new' saw. So after tightening motor & drive belt & lower blade guides & new 1/2" blade (& tension?) yur new saw worked like it should, resawing thru that Walnut & Pine 2x4, great! Now, show us some of your Christmas Raindeer, coasters & other items you like to make, am anxious to see what you are doing. Stay safe, be patient & carry on! Show us some 'stuff' that you make!⚙️🪚💪😊

Yes, I have cut a good bit with it since and it has done great since the adjustments. Exactly what I was needing it to be for the price.

Thanks for the review, Do you think this will resaw a 5inch cherry wood? I want to buy this since the resaw capacity is around 6inch.

I think so. I cut a piece of heart pine that was around 6” and it did fine. I would recommend the 1/2” blade though to help with clearing material and blade drift. I have a link in the description.

Adjusting the roller guides seemed to do it for me. It also seems the harder and wider the material, the more drift you will have.
