I have to say I’m so happy for your build and your well being; able to travel and live life the way you two marvelous people do! I’m a Landy guy, (USA) I presently enjoy our LR4 with lift rods and 275 75 R18 tires! I also own a couple of 1960s series IIA and L322 Range Rover, all are great, however I would give you your choice of them for your Defender; its the envy of my heart. God’s Speed and Blessings!

Really incredible setup. Would be awesome to see it in person if you pass through Johannesburg at some point. Love the idea of the garage area with the spare wheel there. We have a Prado but caught myself day dream once about a double cab Toyota 70 series or Defender and where I would put the spare wheel. Thought I was crazy to have a separate space for it behind the cab and then a few weeks later saw your revamp doing something similar. Validation that I am not crazy 😅

Highly impressive build you've got there. Hope to see you in Botswana... I'm finishing up a conversion of my 1998 Defender 110. I dropped in a BMW M57n engine with an automatic gearbox. I will be taking her up to Maun on the 21st December then going up to Kasane through Moremi, Khwai and Savuti...
