Grob Twin Astir glider canopy

In this video you will see East Sussex Gliding Club's workshop team manufacture a Grob Twin Astir rear canopy after it opened mid flight and was damaged beyond repair. Sourcing a replacement was difficult so the club deiced to make its own.
Please note that what is shown in the video is only a fraction of the hundreds of hours hard work needed for this process to succeed. Thanks to CFI Steve and handyman Ian for their hard work!
