Here's what I got...eggs, 69 cents. Bread, 79 cents. Cheese, $1.45. Imperial margarine, 85 cents. Bag frozen broc, 85 cents. Penne, 79 cents. Roll frozen sausage, $1.59. 3 small bananas...38 cents. Handful of grapes, 36 cents. Can of gr beans, 49 cents. Bag of tortilla scoops, 79 cents. 2 yogurt, 66 cents (33 ea).

I know ya got a better deal with the oatmeal, cuz you had extra for another week, but you can get a variety pack at Aldi for $1.29, freeing up 60 cents. Also...a variety pack at dollar tree is a buck. And they sell turkey bacon, name-brand, for a buck. There's a lot of meat choices at dollar tree for a buck. I enjoyed watching.

Honestly a big bowl of oatmeal cooked with milk and topped with sugar is a great choice for breakfast, keeps you going for hours, is cheap and sure the sugar isn’t so healthy but when you’re broke you need some sugary joy in your life.

I think you did a really great job but I would have opted for canned vegetables instead of bacon and I would have gone with the eggs cause they were a whole lot cheaper and a little bit more nutritious than turkey bacon

I could tell that you were struggling a little with working out which way to go with your choices, but having said that having options at all when you're on a low budget is a luxury, so that in itself is a good thing! :) I was disappointed that at first you started out having some vegetables with the green beans but then they were omitted for the sausage, just a personal choice thing really but so often when you see challenges like this people don't focus on trying to incorporate any vegetables into the shop or fruit either, so at least you got the bananas, however if you'd added a bag of frozen veg you would have probably been under budget providing you got that over the sausage, and it would have been healthier too.

Really you should’ve done the eggs bread cheese sausage not bacon that would’ve been breakfast and lunch for the week your cheese and bread could’ve been for your lunches and then dinner is spaghetti sauce and a big box of spaghetti our rotini and then take some of the sausage and add to that and I’ve been under 10 bucks the quick oats are OK but I don’t like oats without milk in them so those would work out for me
