what you guys are seeing in this video is pretty much the extent of frozen/processed food I keep around - I listen to my body & if after I eat something my heart races & I feel weird or hazy/bloated then it's no good & off the list - I have never been diagnosed as being gluten intolerant but I sure do feel better & have way more energy when I eliminate it. I do eat a ton of raw food & aim to keep things simple - but hey I'm human & I like great tasting food - sometimes a salad just doesn't cut it ; p I try to find things that work well for my system ... so far Udis brand has all agreed with me quite well - no sluggish bloated gross feeling after eating - so hey... once in awhile I eat pizza or a cookie : D Thanks for watching

I mention very clearly in the video that a few items are simply "healthier" options than fast food or heavily processed foods that have lengthy ingredient listings - it would be ideal to make every meal fresh from scratch - but I do like to keep frozen foods on hand for times when I need to eat quickly & don't want to run through a fast food drive through - I don't have a "perfect" diet - please also notice the bananas, avocado, fresh unprocessed salsa, cold pressed green juices & protein etc

3 items processed (that are gluten free cause I'm having an issue with gluten) & then I show you bananas, lemons, kiwi, fresh organic unprocessed salsa, stevia, egg white protein, frozen organic berries, avocado, chia seeds, cold pressed juice.... I think the good outweighs the bad ; )

not everything - fewer items were packaged compared to fresh ones (& I even call them healthier junk food as they are still potato chips buritos etc but they contain fewer chemicals) I did also show bananas, avocado, fresh packed organic salsa with zero preservatives, cold pressed juice, kiwi, lemon, chia, protein - I mention how I like to add those items to salads - which I didn't show because my greens were already in the fridge ; D

I juice all the time & often start my day with a green smoothie made of Kale & frozen berries ... I just like to keep suja for emergencies when my body is craving green juice & I'm super low on time ; D

I was soooo excited to see a food video!!!! I hope you do lots more - food hauls, food in a day, healthy snacks, etc. I eat gluten and dairy free so I would love to see a daily meal plan. Looooved this video. It's so inspirational. I've been getting in the habit of being a healthier individual so this helped a lot. You should think about dedicating a day to "healthy videos". There is just sooo much to show. From grocery hauls, to clogging at the gym, to what you eat in a day....and sooo much more!!!

Another great place to shop with much less packaging is your local farmer's market or subscribing to a CSA, if there's one nearby. I'm a sustainable agriculture major and a big proponent of the "Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food" idea. I love getting to support small, local farmers and give my money to them directly instead of buying my produce from the store where only about 16% of every dollar spent goes to a farmer.

Tati yes! Quick tip Tuesdays for smoothies. Also, I'm trying to be better at grocery shopping and buy veggies and such and would love tips on how to make them last longer. Example such as if I were to use an avocado for something but had left over of it, what should I do w/ it. Shelf life stuff. I suck at that.

One of the best smoothies I make is strawberry greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, chocolate almond milk, chocolate protein powder, coconut oil, and flax seed. So good! So filling!

Love this video, I have Coeliac disease (no gluten and wheat) and based in the UK. You guys are so lucky in the States as you have so much more choice than us over here with gluten free products. I was on holiday in Miami in April and just spent ages in the supermarkets oohing and aahing at the choice of items. More vids like this please, especially how you make your shake!! xx

I always do my best to be a conscientious eater but like any normal person sometimes I just get too busy to creating something completely natural/healthy to eat & lets be totally honest sometimes a girl just feels SUPER lazy or just has a severe craving for something a little naughty. I LOVE that you included "healthier junkfood" for a video, so many great ideas. I get the rant against packaged food, but its nice to have better options for when I feel like cheating a bit. We can't all be saints!

I love unsweetened coconut milk which I mix with frozen berries and my veggie protein shake mix (no soy, dairy, whey) & chia seeds. Very yummy & filling! For a snack I love apples with almond butter.

Yep. I don't have celiac's but have had a LOT of stomach issues that were progressively getting worse. I recently decided to cut out gluten (and dairy) and lo and behold, ALL of my stomach problems have disappeared. The change is quite incredible. You don't need to have celiac's to benefit from cutting out gluten/dairy. Some people are just intolerant/sensitive to these things.

Tati you can get a bag of chia seeds from Whole Foods, put them in your favorite juice and put it in a fridge for an hour or so. It's just as good and a lot more affordable. Thank you for sharing your goodies, xox.

Somehow lately I've gotten into a glass of buttermilk on ice. It's probiotic, hydrating, I love it before bed. It's also had most of the lactose removed. Plus I've heard it's a good beauty toner or bath treatment. I did a buttermilk + manuka honey bath the other night that really helped my skin out.
