Love the trick with the fold over bags and chicken! For the grease on the cabinets, blue Scotch brite pads are great and don’t scratch. You can wet them and put some Comet or Bar Keeper’s Friend powder on them and then wipe off.

Here's a little tip for your lettuce... Keep your lettuce in a bag of ice water. It lasts much much longer than in just a dry bag. I worked doing prep for years and that's how we would do it. P.s. it keeps it crisper too.
@hayleyamorris4 жыл бұрын
This is the real tip! My mother-in-law has done this for as long as I can remember and she does it with potatoes too so they’re diced and ready to go in the morning. Great tip!

Susan Hendrix It doesn’t make the lettuce waterlogged?! That is so cool! So don’t core it? Put the whole head in a ziplock bag of ice water? Easy peasy! Thanks!
@hayleyamorris4 жыл бұрын
Susan Burger it doesn’t at all! It stays really fresh and crisp! I actually will chop mine up for a salad, put it in a bowl and cover with water and take it to work like that. When I get to work I drain the water really well and it’s still so crunchy and crisp!

You are one of my favorite KZbinrs. You are so genuine and relatable. I mean this in the kindest way but so many others show their homes and they like they were professionally staged to go on the market to sell. Your home always looks cozy and comfortable. Like a home should look! I'm sure everyone who enters your home is made to feel very welcome.

Honey groceries are different depending on where people live. I just bought a 10 lb bag of chicken breast and cube steak and 10 lb of hamburger what I can't find is toilet paper which is being sold right now for $50 per roll on eBay! I got sugar I can't find flour. I can get milk and cream along with mayonnaise bananas kiwi watermelon. I can't get hot dogs! You see?:-)

Kellie if you really want something that will get stuff like that off in a heartbeat try SOS pads. They have been around for years and I have never ran into anything you can’t get off with them. Sometimes the older products work best. I keep a box handy and best of all they are dirt cheap.
@rebeccanorman52364 жыл бұрын
Lorraine Howard I love sos pads, I was raised by my grandma and she used them all the time. I use them on my cast iron too.
@lorrainehoward27224 жыл бұрын
rebecca norman I know. Anytime you have something that you can’t get out any other way, just bring out the SOS pad. But you know in America everything is about the latest thing out and a lot of really good cleaning products get left by the way side.

Next time you pull your cooker out to clean try spraying wd40 on the grease leave for five minutes then clean. The grease comes off a lot easier you can then use your normal cleaning products.

I’m a Tupperware Consultant over here in Australia. I love seeing USA Tupperware products 😍 Also you don’t need to use or wash your stawberries before going into the ventsmarts they’re designed specially to catch excess water at the bottom and the grooves at the bottom also help circulation which is good for your fruit!! Paper towel stops it working to it’s full potential ❤️😍

Hi Ms. Kelly - I want to suggest a product for you that will help prevent those drips down the sides of the stove. Search on Amazon for 'silicone stove counter gap cover.' They come in white, black, or gray. I have had a set of these for a while and have to say they do a great job. The other product I would like to suggest is for removing that greasy goo -- 'Soft Scrub All Purpose Surface Cleanser - be sure to get the one with the lemon on the label. I found this product 5 or 6 years ago when we moved to a new-to-us house and the tops of the kitchen cabinets were laden with tacky grease. This was the ONLY product that would remove it. I have used it for a variety of cleaning issues. I enjoy your videos and admire all that you are able to tackle with three young ones to care for. Stay well!

I can’t ever get strawberries to last either! The best method I’ve found is to wash and slice all of them, put half in the fridge and half in the freezer. Then I pull the freezer ones out when the fridge ones are gone.

You can see it plus you dont do it all the way down. Just level with the counter tops or a little below. It helps to keep the grease from cooking off the actual wall. It's much easier to clean grease off ceramic tiles.
