That was just the most glorious shopping event I’ve ever seen. Abundant, traditional, experienced, and very family & friends focussed. I’m in the Southern Hemisphere (NZ) where Thanksgiving is not a thing. However it’s lovely to see how that traditional event highlights thankfulness for the importance of family- both born and created. ❤️

My family truly in my mind! The Cades! Widowed now, Justin my son, our only child, still living and working in Europe. No real Thanksgiving for me, I could have gone home to my parents in the Bahamas, not feeling that as I will be there Christmas through the New Year! Too long of a flight, etc. just to be there a couple days! My first time alone on Thanksgiving, by choice, invited to a couple places, didn’t want to be out of place though, Thanksgiving is for family! Like the Cade family, I usually serve at a Homeless Shelter or the neighborhood Fire or EMS station Thanksgiving morning. This year, I decided to donate 55 Turkeys and 26 Picnic Hams, to the local Dare to Care food bank, I bet Mrs. Cade knows what a Picnic Ham is! Does anyone reading this know? Anyway, Happy blessed Thanksgiving to the Cade family and all good folks everywhere! Btw, I am currently just a 6 hour drive away from the Cades in Alabama, just thought I would put that out there! 🤷🏾Blessings! ✊🏽🙏🏽✌🏽
