Grocery shopping is a major interest to me. I have taught planning, budgeting, and shopping to young people and to those who find it difficult to do. Your shopping is fascinating to me. Do you food shop every day? How do you stick to a specific budget? And what is an average monthly (or weekly) food budget? Thank you for sharing your amazing culture! I so appreciate your videos!
@LinnainJapan2 жыл бұрын
Hi thank you for writing to me 🎶 I shop 2, 3 times a week and don’t have a specific budget😅 I t hink I spend around 40k JPN to 50k JPN a month on our food. I think it’s considered moderate in compare to eating out everyday. If we are to eat out everyday, it would probably cost double if not more !

I love to play your videos while i study the background noise is simply perfect. I've always enjoyed calm and low background noise, but i find the the voices of people speaking be it in english or my native language too distracting, so hearing it in a foreign language is simply perfect

Was in Japan Daiso, ist in Deutschland Woolworth. Die Auswahl ist viel kleiner , Daiso ist mit billiger Ware noch besser 😊 Seitenpapierhandtücher im 5er Pack 😳 und die Toiletten Rollen 😀, viel besser verpackt. 8:32 🧑🎄😃 Super, was deutsches.

Hello my dear friend Linna. Thankyou for your reply it was very kind of you. I've got lots of things to tell you. You wil never guess what I have done???? I cleaned my kitchen from top to bottom. It is so clean I worked really hard. I still not gone out with the ice on the pavements it is treacherous. However the next day when I woke up I could not move my fore finger ony left hand. My husband looked at my finger has a different shape. I have either badly sprained it ,or possibly broken it as it is all out of shape. What a time to get this ???. 1week toy CHRISTMASS and I haven't been shopping yet but my husband will bring me in the car so I won't slip up. I have to buy several presents and get a big food shop in as well. My husband will help alot as I can't move my left ✋ lol lol. I hope you and your husband and your two lovely boys are all well. I think your son's have impeccable manners . They are a credit to you. We will speak again soon Linna until then take care my friend. 😁🤗🤩💕🤣😀😀

How is your hand now? You must had worked too hard in your cleaning 😅 but your husband is the sweetest 🥰 how lovely he took care of you 💛 I enjoy reading your message! Write to me again and let me know how your are doing 💛
@teresathurston5462 жыл бұрын
Hiya Linna my friend, my hand is still the same. The pain is still there but maybe not as bad, so I think it's just badly sprained. It is still a nuisance tho because I need to go shopping for gifts etc. I think my husband does not really want a very busy Christmas because his job is driving. He is H.G.V. driver,he drives Tankers that carry Mollases it's a foodstuff to bring to farms so that tha animals can have it in their food. They mainly have it through the winter because when it's frosty or even because the grass does not grow they don't get their nutrients. He is thinking that he wants a very quiet Christmas because he is so tired , he just wants to relax. I tend to be the one to be wanting a party. Not this year though. Sometimes I try and do this ,do that and everthingworks out confusing. So I agree a lovely Chritmas but nice and quiet. I think you stainless items for your kitchen are fantastic. They will last a lifetime. I've always wanted a fry pan and kettle like that. Maybe my husband will look on the internet for me, just because they last so much longer than any otherpans etc. Over here in Liverpool we tend to go a bit mad and buy lots of gifts and other things but really they are not long lasting, so then it becomes a total waste of money. The price of thing are horrendous. So I like to get maybe one or two things that are good quality and that means they they are going to last. One week to go, then few hours later it's over. I'm not going to worry. The day will take care of itself. So long everyone is happy,that's all that matters. I just hope I can get all my cleaning stuff sparkling for the NEW YEAR. I Try and make sure everything in its place, then I am happy. Hope you and your son's are well and we will speak again very soon. Take care my friend with lots of Love, Health and happiness from Liverpool England 🇬🇧.

I am astounded that you buy cleaning products at the chemist. In Australia we buy cleaning products at the supermarket as the supermarket has a much bigger range. Toilet paper and tissues are far more expensive in the chemist than at the supermarket.

You should try scottish strawberries they are the best in the wprld
@JMarieCAlove2 жыл бұрын
Can she get those in Japan? I have read or heard other people say there strawberries in their country, are the best in the world, too. I’ve tasted strawberries here in California, amazingly delicious and in a few different countries, they were all very delicious, too. Since my husband and I will be visiting our niece in England, not sure exactly when but she is planning on taking us to Scotland too, her kids dad is from there and we still keep in touch with him, maybe I can try strawberries there too.
