My Western friends went to Japan with me years ago and just fell in love with Japanese bidets. They actually bought the Japanese toilet seats and brought them back to their home countries.

@igormanja only the lid comes up on entry. There is a button on the control panel that lifts the seat. This is the best way if there are females using the toilet. HOWEVER, I think there is an option in setup that would automatically lift both the lid and the seat.

It is still working well. I ran a limescale flush once but I don't think I really needed it as we have a water softener. FYI - when the video focuses on the control panel you can see the button to lift the seat on top right.

Did you install this yourself? My neighbor has one of these, but it's a Duravit. I like this more. His doesn't have a dryer either. That's nuts. Must be nice!

@@ChrisKayeHavingFun $475 for the install. I don't know if that's high or low. I have the Duravit Sensowash on one of my toilets, but it's problematic. I'm not sure what the install cost was, but it was $2200 total. For something I don't use.

It will only accept nearest logged in phone...but when guests are using it they may get a surprise!

Clearly this is a subject that isn't usually discussed in polite society so I will try to respond tastefully! The answer is 'usually'. There are occasions where you may need a 'paper polish' as you put it.

Still happy. No problems. I advise using the mobile app as it has more functionality.

Woah just like in Japan! Can this toilet seat heat up tho? And can the night led lamp be put off? Because that is a waste of elektricity in my eyes. Thank you btw for this helpful video!

Seat does not heat up but it never feels cold. There is no switch for light but I guess you could have it removed.

Cold water feed. The unit heats water as required.

How did you manage to connect the toilet to iPhone? I can’t get it to connect....

My phone is not Apple. Its a while since I paired it but I followed instructions in the quick start guide that came with the toilet. Do you have this? Anyway, I loaded the sensia app on my phone; I confirmed the disclaimer in the app; with phone near the loo I pressed dryer and water temp at the same time then the app asked me if I wanted to pair. FYI I cannot flush the loo using the app but all other functions work.
