15 years ago when I moved to Japan, my Japanese coworkers at city hall drove me to the mega electronics store after my first paycheck. They couldn't stop laughing when I made a bee line to the back of the store and started to excitedly check out electronic bidets. Yes, my very first expensive purchase in Japan was a toilet seat. I have a bidet that is mounted under the toilet seat. Easy to install and costed less than $50. I had it before covid hit in 2019 and the toilet paper fiasco happened. I had a 4 pack of tp and it lasted me 5 months. I also have IBS. Bidets are a godsend!

I have had the T38 for 6 weeks and for the most part love it. Few issues is adjusting the microwave sensor, finding an explanation of the LED emojis, and is there any to skip having to open the seat before closing the top? Agree 100% I would never go back to a manual toilet.

My Wife has Crohn's and this was some of the best money we ever spent it's been a real improvement to her quality of life. Ours is a couple of years old now but looks *very* similar to the Horow T38. It amused me that it shares its model number with a Russian amphibious tank.

Completely understandable question. It uses a siphonic flush system that’s quieter than my old dumb toilet, so I don’t think you’ll have a problem with the noise level.

Have you upgraded yet? We have the version built into the toilet seat that you can add to the toilet you already have. Best investment ever and they can be had for a few hundred dollars or less, depending on the bells and whistles you want.
