15 years ago when I moved to Japan, my Japanese coworkers at city hall drove me to the mega electronics store after my first paycheck. They couldn't stop laughing when I made a bee line to the back of the store and started to excitedly check out electronic bidets. Yes, my very first expensive purchase in Japan was a toilet seat. I have a bidet that is mounted under the toilet seat. Easy to install and costed less than $50. I had it before covid hit in 2019 and the toilet paper fiasco happened. I had a 4 pack of tp and it lasted me 5 months. I also have IBS. Bidets are a godsend!

I only use bidets. I can't go back to sand paper. No more hemorrhoids. That being said that's an amazing price for a full toilet. My bidet covers are around 300-500 so for the features and the fact it's a whole toilet 999 is crazy. I'm getting a few of these for sure.
