But really, in my experience 14T gets you better acceleration and you aren't sacrificing any top speed, if anything I gained a few mph on the top end!

Wind and hills are a killer, but the 14 tooth is the way to go. Nothing has improved my bike as much as the 14 tooth sprocket. Your bike is new, they get faster as they loosen up with mileage too.

I put a 14T sprocket on my 2020 Monkey and didn’t really notice a difference.

Your Grom is still new, low miles, it will get faster. Best mod on stock engine is the 14t. Need more, get intake, exhaust, DHM cam and DHM tune. Best bang for the money 😊

How many miles are on your grom? Just wondering, my 22 Grom has about 2300 miles on it. All stock engine. It’s at the shop now getting new tires and chain, and sprockets (stock gearing) and TST chain adjusters. Been considering the yoshi slip on but the price is a little high for my liking. Thanks! I have a WHOPPING 165 miles 😅 I got it 3 months ago to the day and we just stopped getting snow last week, miles should go up pretty quick now that it's decent weather again!

You are paying #1 for the name and #2 for the sound. Save hundreds and get the Amazon one if you haven’t already. At that size of motor you aren’t making much difference if any at all.

So I recorded this last week, then the next day went hog wild with my ordering. Exhaust, monkey parts, tuned ecu should all be here next week! Going to be a big transformation.

@@mr.somebody1493 Yessir! The foot peg mounting plates/rear sets from a monkey apparently transfer over with minimum fuss. So I'll be ditching the passenger pegs and going sleeker as well as going all black instead of the silver grom pieces. Also got monkey fork guards for the front that I think I'm going to go with the grom beak, no fender, and the guards eventually. Not 100% decided on that yet, but the parts were cheap enough I just threw them in on the Babbitts order in case I wanted to go that route.

So 31T rear would be like going up a little over 2 teeth in the front. If your engine can support that kind of gearing that's wild! You must be up there in HP figures (relatively speaking haha) Try messing around on gearing commander and see what it'd say your final drive and top speed would be: www.gearingcommander.com/
