Gronk’s 8lb “Great Divide” Burger Challenge Is Meant for 2-Person Teams!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus Gronk's 8lb "Great Divide" Burger Challenge which is meant for 2-person teams, hosted by Gronk's Grill & Bar in Superior, Wisconsin!! After attempting the 9 big competitive eating restaurant challenges during my travels around Minnesota, I tried 3 more northwest Wisconsin food challenges before heading home to Milwaukee. For Wisconsin eating challenge #1 of three, I made the quick drive from Duluth, Minnesota across the bridge to Superior, Wisconsin so I could attempt Gronk's 8lb "Great Divide" Cheeseburger Challenge at Gronk's Grill & Bar which offers two different eating challenges. Gronk's offers a 5lb "Enger Tower" Burger Challenge that is meant for just one person to eat solo, and Gronk's also offers an 8lb "Great Divide" Burger Challenge which is meant for 2-person teams to share. After beating the massive 10lb bacon cheeseburger challenge at Big Daddy's Burgers in Duluth, I felt confident I could fare well versus the larger 8lb "Great Divide" Cheeseburger Challenge all by myself within the 1 hour time limit. There were SIX 1-pound beef hamburger patties, fresh & never frozen, stacked up and layered with 18 slices of cheese (3 slices on each layer). There was no bacon, thankfully, but again the burger was surrounded by 2lbs of Gronk's thick hand-cut fries. My eating friend @mollyschuyler-Mom-Vs-Food was the only person to finish the entire burger challenge meal by herself, so I was hoping to become just the 2nd person to do it and win my $49.11 cheeseburger meal free plus some sweet Gronk's merch and a spot on their Wall of Fame!! I like your strategy of eating the fries along with the burger so that you don't have a plate of 2lbs of fries to eat after your complete 6lbs of burger. Sure it may take a little longer to get the main entree down but you must feel so relieved that you have hardly any fries remaining to finish off. Keep on winning!
