Since Risey was raised by the Queen, he is use to the other horses stepping back to allow him to be first. The Queen did such an excellent job of raising him and teaching him manners also. Yvonne, we are so glad that you were able to purchase The Queen and she will remain with you. She had a heavy load as herd leader. Keeping order, teaching the young ones their place and job representing the Fabulous Friesian Horse Breed known around the world for good temperament, intelligence, strength, beautful, pride of place. The best thing for risey is to stay with his friends untill they are leaving. Because he would be lonesome in stal H, because he can't stay with the friesians neigther with the shettys. When he has 3/4 years you can start the training. 🥰

Risey is the kind of horse that would consider pastures/meadows/open fields his home, he is so restless inside stalls. He has a mustang spirit, always wanting to flap his wings and display his showmanship.

At Stal G the youngsters get training in the form of wearing a halter, being groomed and handled, and walking alongside a person. Serious training (backing) doesn't start until the horse is three years old. This timing seems to work very well with the Friesians and doesn't stress their bodies when they are too young. I'm just guessing that Risey will follow the same schedule as the Friesians.👍

Aww, when did Mathilde become a cuddle bug? Very sweet! Risey’s sire was quite a dark brown, so maybe Risey will continue to darken, too. Very good to see so many of our favorites at both stals. Uniek and Risey is totally beautiful. The sadness of Uniek losing her foal was devastating but then Risey needed a momma and our gorgeous girl stepped up and raised him as though he was born of her it is a beautiful story ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Trust Uniek to come up with a new behavior to train Yvonne to give her food! 😂The photos on the stall doors were lovely! How well behaved Risey & his friends are (during grooming time)! Rising Star has become huge and is such a handsome boy 🤩. I haven't watched the channel for a few months, but it is great to see the horses and ponies looking well, all of them growing up into young horses, but Risey is still a cheeky character. Queen Uniek is as beautiful as ever. Yvonne looks well after what happened and it's really nice to see that.
